It is as tough as any other business.” She warns against the common misconception that cleaning companies are easy to start. “When people want to start a business, they think starting a cleaning company is easier because it requires a low startup fund. But this business is as difficult as any other business,” Safari cautions. Success requires proper planning and execution. 

Safari believes technology will be crucial for staying competitive in the cleaning industry. “Without having a good technology system to interact and carry over on-demand orders, it’s going to be hard for whoever wants to start,” she explains. Rather than developing expensive systems from scratch, Safari recommends smaller businesses use existing platforms like GiGO Clean, currently serving Southern California with plans to expand nationwide within the next three years.
