All 10,000 Fight Me: Triumphia Origins NFTs get sold out in 2 minutes ahead of Fight Me game release

Triumphia Origins NFTs give their holders WL spots and early access to the upcoming game Fight Me by Nekki, a studio whose franchises boast over 1 billion downloads. After a lightning-fast mint on Magic Eden, Fight Me is gearing up for the main Genesis mint in November.

Triumphia Origins is the first NFT collection designed for the Polygon-based game Fight Me, which should be released in beta in Q1 2024. The studio behind the game is Nekki, a Cyprus-based developer known for such popular Web2 franchises as Shadow Fight, Vector, and 11×11. Overall, Nekki’s games have been downloaded more than a billion times.

  • A whitelist spot on the upcoming Fight Me Genesis mint in November;
  • Early access to the game (Q1 2024);
  • Member-only activities and competitions in Discord.

Two minutes: that’s all it took to mint out 10,000 Triumphia Origins

Fight Me’s 70,000-strong community is one of the most active in the GameFi industry, so it’s not surprising that the level of excitement around the Triumphia mint was very high. On October 15, the free mint started on Magic Eden with two whitelisted rounds for the OG Discord members.

What followed was a FCFS (first come, first served) round that lasted only two minutes. As all the 6,000 remaining Triumphia Origins fighters were minted out immediately, the planned public round never took place.

Nekki has 20 years of experience building large-scale action and strategy game franchises, but Fight Me is its first Web3 project. However, Game Director Nikita Korzhavin is convinced of its success:

“With each of our games, we’ve enjoyed incredible organic growth and community support. We see the same happening with Fight Me – for example, when we launched a creative contest for mint WL spots, we received several thousands of submissions. All these users wanted to get hold of the Triumphia NFTs because they want to test the game.

70,000 users is just the beginning: we have 12 million followers across all o Nekki’s franchises. Many of those players will also join Fight Me, so it will have a large Web2 audience, as well.”

The many reasons to be excited about Fight Me and Triumphia Origins

Fight Me is a Polygon-based game that combines the approaches of Compete-to-Earn and Play-to-Own to ensure long-term sustainability of the game economics. The main Genesis NFT mint is scheduled for November 2023.

Players will collect fighter NFTs, create fighting squads and act as their managers as they compete in tournaments. Fighters can level up, unlocking new skills and random power-ups. These skills and abilities will determine the value of each NFT in the secondary market.

What makes the project special are the credentials of the developer, Nekki:

  • Built Shadow Fight, one of the biggest fighting franchises in mobile gaming;
  • Over 1 billion downloads and 12 million followers across all games;
  • Also known for the franchises Vector and 11×11; currently working on Spine, a PC and console action game;
  • Released Cascadeur, an animation tool used by 100,000 indie game developer and animators;
  • Based in Cyprus (European Union), with 300 team members in multiple countries.
