Accenture Appoints New CEO
Accenture Federal Services, a leading US federal services company and subsidiary of Accenture LLP, said on Tuesday it has appointed Ron Ash as the new Chief Executive Officer, which takes effect Sept 1, 2024. Ash will succeed John Goodman, who will step down as CEO and Chair of the Accenture Federal Services Board of Managers on August 31, 2024, and retire on March 31, 2025.
Ash began his career at Accenture in 1996, focusing on supply chain transformation in global industries. In 2002, he joined Accenture Federal Services, and held a wide range of roles, serving as the company’s Public Safety Portfolio Lead, Strategy & Consulting Growth Platform Lead, Diamond Client Account Lead for several clients been and the Chief Operating Officer. he will also become Chair of the Accenture Federal Services Board of Managers and will improve the company’s ability to help the US federal government embrace new technologies, Accenture said.

Goodman has served as the CEO of Accenture Federal Services since 2017. He helped in doubling the size of the company and its workforce to 15,500 people. During this time, Accenture Federal Services rose from No. 13 to No. 9 on the Washington Technology Top 100 federal industry list, Accenture said.
