Rajesh Dandotiya Completes the 2026 Fellowship
Rajesh Dandotiya, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Indore Police Commissionerate, has completed the Chevening India Cyber Security Fellowship 2026 in the United Kingdom. He is reported to be the first police officer from the Indore Police Commissionerate to complete the fellowship.
Dandotiya has also been involved in cyber-awareness initiatives and has conducted more than 1,100 awareness sessions covering online financial fraud, phishing, identity theft, OTP scams, social-media fraud and digital arrest scams.
His work in cybercrime awareness has also received recognition from the World Book of Records, London. He has authored five books related to cybersecurity and cybercrime prevention, including Inside the Cyber Crime Files: Decoding the Digital Battlefield, co-authored with cybersecurity professional Arya Tyagi.
Dandotiya was also featured in Forbes India’s 2026 edition among individuals recognised for achievements in their respective fields.
The Road Ahead
India’s cybersecurity requirements are expected to grow alongside the expansion of artificial intelligence, digital financial services, cloud technologies and connected devices.
Addressing these challenges will require a combination of technical expertise, effective policies, trained law-enforcement personnel, international cooperation and greater public awareness.
