Premium Physical Collectibles Platform Featuring Sports, Entertainment and Character IP to Officially Launch on August 7
PUNKVISM, a Web3 company focused on digital content and ecosystem infrastructure, is expanding into the physical collectibles market. The company announced that RAREON, a premium platform specializing in physical TCG collectibles featuring global sports stars, K-culture artists and established character IP, will officially launch on August 7.
Sports and entertainment card collecting, historically concentrated in North America and Europe, has evolved beyond conventional fan merchandise into a global collectibles market. The value of individual items is often shaped by factors such as rarity, provenance, condition, official licensing and cultural significance. PUNKVISM developed RAREON to introduce this growing collecting culture to the Korean market through a curated premium lineup.
RAREON’s first major licensed collection will feature Brazilian football legend Roberto Carlos. Scheduled to be unveiled alongside the platform’s launch on August 7, the limited-edition TCG card collection will be produced under an official license and released worldwide in limited quantities through a blind-box format. The launch is expected to draw interest from football fans and collectors in Korea and overseas.
RAREON’s planned lineup will extend beyond the Roberto Carlos collection. Upcoming sports releases include Korean basketball legend Hur Jae, table tennis legend Hyun Jung-hwa and badminton legend Lee Yong-dae. PUNKVISM also plans to introduce collections featuring prominent Korean and international entertainers, artists and character IP.
Through this expanding portfolio, PUNKVISM aims to develop RAREON beyond a sports card marketplace into a broader premium collectibles platform spanning sports, entertainment, art and character-driven content.

RAREON and its inaugural officially licensed Roberto Carlos TCG blind-box collection will be unveiled through the official RAREON website on August 7.
