The project centered on digitizing the traditional manufacturing workflow. High QA’s proprietary AI engine was built to interpret 2D PDF drawings—a long-standing industry standard—and automatically extract structured digital data. This automation eliminates the risks associated with manual data entry, ensuring that the original design intent is preserved throughout the quality management process.
While the system was originally optimized for local shop-floor hardware to ensure low latency, its localized architecture created hurdles for international expansion. To serve a diverse client
base ranging from aerospace manufacturers in the U.S. to automotive suppliers in Europe, High QA needed to move toward a distributed cloud model without sacrificing performance or security.
A Critical Migration Strategy
Migrating machine learning architectures in regulated industries is a high-stakes endeavor. High QA’s software is vital for aerospace, defense, and medical manufacturing—sectors where quality control is directly linked to regulatory compliance and safety. Any performance degradation or security flaw during the migration could have disrupted essential production pipelines.

optimizing computation resources locally and was tightly coupled to shop floor manufacturing environments.”
Modernizing this stack required achieving deterministic performance while adhering to strict
SOC 2 and CMMC 2.0 security standards. To navigate this, High QA sought a partner that could integrate with their internal culture while providing specialized AWS expertise.

The joint effort resulted in a secure AWS landing zone and robust network segmentation, completed in just 60 days. This new infrastructure successfully mirrors the performance of local deployments while meeting the rigorous CMMC 2.0 and SOC 2 requirements demanded by global industrial clients.
The resulting cloud-native platform provides true global reach while sustaining the exceptional speed and reliability previously limited to local deployments.
