Andrii Slobodian: Artificial Intelligence - The Perfect Assistant for Gen Z

Social research shows that Generation Z leads the way in adopting artificial intelligence and digital technologies. Zoomers are taking key roles in high-tech fields and mastering AI tools at a rapid pace. Andrii Slobodian, an online growth expert, is a clear example of this trend: at just 21 years old, he is already building unique online community systems that generate millions of views every day.

Despite his young age, Andrii is considered a top-tier specialist in online marketing. In 2024, he won the XM Leader Awards business prize in the category “Leader in Digital Transformation.” The jury highly praised Slobodian’s contribution to the development of innovative online growth models.

The days when one could only become an expert after turning 40 are long gone. Zoomers quickly master complex software, find solutions quickly, and implement new technologies with ease. They move just as naturally in the digital world as in the physical one because, for them, it is a single, unified space. The contrast between generations is striking. Andrii Slobodian’s mother barely made ends meet through physically demanding work and was far removed from digital technologies. Andrii, on the other hand, earns a substantial income working from home, sitting at his computer.

Andrii began building his career at 15. Even then, he chose intellectual work over physical labor, focusing on the virtual environment that feels native to Gen Z. Without startup capital, wealthy parents, or influential connections, he built a powerful ecosystem of private online communities in just four years, offering the market a completely new approach to online growth. His starting capital was not money, but curiosity, analytical thinking, and healthy stubbornness. His education came not from classrooms, but from hands-on experience: through mistakes, setbacks, and trial-and-error learning.

With the money he had saved, Andrii bought his first online community. However, luck did not favor the inexperienced high school student. The business turned out to be unprofitable due to a lack of understanding of metrics and advertising sales algorithms.

Giving up was never an option. Instead of quitting, Andrii drew conclusions. He took a job as an assistant to the administrator of a large network of communities to gain practical experience.

By the age of 17, Andrii had already implemented his first AI-powered automation tools. Software now handled view counts and link aggregation, saving him up to seven hours every day. With guidance from an experienced mentor, Slobodian made a second attempt at purchasing a community, and this time successfully earned tangible profits by reselling advertising.

In 2021, a platform crisis began across the CIS region. Community owners were leaving VK en masse and moving to Telegram. Seizing the opportunity, Andrii implemented a diversification strategy: he bought VK communities at low prices and used them as traffic sources, gradually redirecting audiences to Telegram. However, Telegram brought another challenge. His first Telegram community turned out to be unprofitable. Andrii failed to account for the fact that Telegram lacks organic viral reach and that growth depends almost entirely on paid promotion.

At 19, Andrii developed a traffic transfer system based on applications to join private communities. This approach reduced unsubscribes by 30% and lowered the cost per subscriber by 15–20 times. His network’s audience grew to 2.5 million users. Slobodian became highly visible in the market. He successfully promoted channels for rapper Morgenstern and collaborated with million-follower Twitch streamer DangerLyoha. Andrii’s clients include major CIS companies such as Sberbank, Cooper, Lenta, Beeline, and Alfa-Bank. Just imagine it: companies with billion-dollar revenues trust their promotion to platforms built by a 19-year-old.

By 2025, the total audience of Slobodian’s media network exceeded 4 million subscribers. True to his Gen Z mindset, Andrii turned to artificial intelligence as his main scaling partner. Today, he uses AI in two dimensions: tactical (to automate routine tasks) and strategic (as a product in its own right).

Artificial intelligence plays an active role in content and idea generation. As a media network grows, it requires massive volumes of short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels to attract free traffic. Human creative capacity is limited because burnout happens fast. Andrii delegated idea generation and viral video scripting to neural networks. This provides a strong foundation and saves hours of brainstorming. Thanks to AI, the content pipeline never stops, allowing high reach without expanding a large team of writers.

Slobodian has fully integrated AI into his ecosystem. He is currently developing his own AI-powered application where users can interact with virtual characters and influence story development. Audience traffic flows into the app through a closed-loop system: users arrive for free from social media, interact with AI, and are then redirected back into the media ecosystem or monetized through subscriptions.

Andrii Slobodian plans to continue integrating AI into content improvement, analytics, and moderation, especially as he prepares to enter Western markets. It is hard to imagine what innovations he will bring to a new audience at 21, considering how unconventional his thinking already was at 15. The expert is confident in his global expansion. His algorithms are highly universal: they work equally well for personal brands and commercial projects, and can be adapted to any region. Moreover, thanks to deep automation, only a minimal team is required, while a precisely engineered traffic transfer system allows online communities to grow with little to no advertising spend. Yes, this approach requires large volumes of content, ideas, and audience analytics. So who becomes the main assistant and ally in tackling these challenges? Artificial intelligence.
