Home prices in Arizona were up 0.5% year-over-year in October. At the same time, the number of homes sold rose 1.7% and the number of homes for sale rose 9.0%, according to data released from Redfin. But if you’re looking for the Arizona city with the fastest-growing home prices, look no further than picturesque Sedona.

In October 2025, home prices in Arizona were up 0.5% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $447,000. On average, the number of homes sold was up 1.7% year over year and there were 7,978 homes sold in October this year, up 7,843 homes sold in October last year. The median days on the market was 69 days, up 12 year over year

That is good news for Arizona homeowners because home values are falling for more than half of U.S. households. New research from Zillow® shows 53% of all U.S. homes have lost value since last year — the highest share since 2012, the tail end of home value declines after the Great Recession

At the top of the list, Sedona recorded the highest price growth of 26.0%, making it the fastest-growing housing market in Arizona. Sedona’s stunning scenery, tourism appeal, and limited housing supply continue to push values upward at a pace much higher than the state average. Following Sedona, Catalina Foothills is second with 12.4% growth, supported by its upscale neighborhoods and scenic location near Tucson.

Two cities—Chandler and Florence—share the third position, each showing 5.0% price growth. Chandler remains strong due to steady population growth and a solid job market, while Florence continues to develop and attract residents looking for affordability. Just behind them is Anthem, where home prices grew 4.8%, reflecting rising demand in this suburban community.

Both Fort Mohave and Green Valley recorded 4.5% growth, tying them at the next position on the list. These areas continue to attract buyers looking for quieter living and reasonable pricing. Yuma, a well-known southern Arizona city, saw a 4.2% increase, keeping it within the top 10. Sun Lakes followed with 3.6% growth, and lastly, Casas Adobes saw a 2.3% increase, completing the list of the top ten fastest-growing markets.

These numbers clearly show which cities are gaining value the fastest and where demand is strongest. Sedona is far ahead of every other city, while others like Catalina Foothills, Chandler, and Florence show solid, consistent growth. Together, these trends highlight the areas where homebuyers and investors are focusing in Arizona.

Fort Mohave and Green Valley each recorded 4.5% growth, showing steady appreciation in these areas. Yuma also showed noticeable movement with a 4.2% increase in home prices. After that, Sun Lakes experienced 3.6% growth, and finally, Casas Adobes showed a 2.3% rise, completing the top-10 list.
