Conservative Media outlet InsiderWire reaches 100 Million Viewers. Founder shares details

InsiderWire has crossed a major milestone. The conservative news outlet now reaches nearly 100 million viewers monthly across its platforms. Started in 2024 by Wesley Marius on X (formerly Twitter), the platform has quickly become a recognized voice in online political media.

The growth comes at a time when conservative audiences seek alternatives to traditional news sources. InsiderWire’s content appears on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, BlueSky, Threads, Truth Social, and various forums. The platform features contributions from well-known figures like Joe Rogan, Alex Jones, Megyn Kelly, Elon Musk, Charlie Kirk, and Gavin Newsom. A viral video exposing 22 Democratic senators using identical scripts to criticize Donald Trump brought widespread attention in 2025. The revelation about Jack Guillan—the @LAScanner account operator exposed as a convicted felon—further boosted the outlet’s profile. These stories demonstrate InsiderWire’s approach to news coverage for Gen Z and Gen Y conservatives.

Q. Wesley Marius, you launched InsiderWire less than a year ago. What specific gap in conservative media were you trying to fill when you started this platform?

Wesley Marius: When I launched InsiderWire, my goal was to promote Christian Conservative values through online media, providing a mainstream media alternative for Gen Z and Gen Y.

Q. Your platform reached 100 million viewers in under a year. Which social media platforms drive the most engagement, and how do you tailor content for Gen Z and Gen Y audiences?

Wesley Marius: X (formerly Twitter) is our main platform due to its conservative community and high engagement rates.

Q. The video exposing 22 Democratic senators using identical scripts went viral. How do you identify these stories, and what role does investigative work play in your content strategy?

Wesley Marius: We have a community of highly experienced journalists and reporters who support one another with news tips and suggestions. Without their help, that video wouldn’t have been possible.

Q. You feature content from controversial figures like Alex Jones alongside mainstream personalities like Megyn Kelly. How do you decide which voices to include on your platform?

Wesley Marius: We don’t feature anyone; our news is purely political updates.

Q. Many new media companies struggle to monetize their audience. What’s your business model, and how do you plan to sustain growth beyond social media metrics?

Wesley Marius: At the moment, our revenue is from X ads, but we want to start making money from our website, insiderwire.com, and the newsletter.

InsiderWire’s rapid rise reflects changing media consumption patterns among younger conservative audiences. The platform’s mix of breaking news, viral exposés, and diverse conservative voices has carved out a distinct space in political media. As traditional outlets face declining trust, platforms like InsiderWire are reshaping how political news reaches millions of Americans. The next year will test whether this growth trajectory continues and how the platform adapts to an evolving digital landscape.
