[Interview] Forbes-Recognized Hyun-ki Hwang, CEO of Punkvism: “Leading the Global Web3 Market Through RWA Innovation”

Hyun-ki Hwang, CEO of the Web3 integrated platform Punkvism (PUNKVISM), is the only Korean featured in Forbes Mexico’s “40 Under 40 Tech Leaders” list. He was recognized for building an ecosystem where fans and creators share revenue by integrating real-world assets (RWAs), NFTs, and tokenomics—an innovation Forbes highly praised.

Recently, Hwang also drew global attention by taking part in the “Ronaldinho Show” in Poland alongside legendary Brazilian players, directly showcasing the potential of sports RWA partnerships.

We sat down with this rising global figure to discuss the second wave of NFTs and the future of Web3.

What is Punkvism’s vision?

Punkvism is building a Web3.0 ecosystem centered on the Punky Kongz NFT community, aiming to create a world where anyone can invest in global assets through small-scale RWA tokenization. The Ronaldinho Show in Poland, made possible through our collaboration with Brazilian partner Paglo, was a powerful real-world demonstration of our RWA vision. I also believe our selection by Forbes confirms Punkvism’s global potential.

We heard you’re planning to bring the Ronaldinho Show to Asia. How will that work with RWA?

Southeast and East Asia are ideal markets due to their strong global fandom. We’re currently finalizing contracts. For example, a $1 million event could be divided into 10,000 tokens at $100 each for public sale. Investors participate using PVT tokens and, after a successful event, can expect substantial short-term returns through ticket sales. Large investors (whales) contributing over 5% will receive benefits such as flights, hotel stays, parties with Ronaldinho, and even the chance to play in the match. Starting next year, we plan to hold the Ronaldinho Show annually—enhancing Punkvism’s brand visibility while delivering both profit and utility to investors and NFT holders.

You’re also planning K-POP concerts using RWA. How does that work?

We’re collaborating with a major event partner in Vietnam to book top K-POP stars. For instance, if an artist booking costs ₩500 million (~$380,000), Punkvism will pre-finance it. Then, once the venue and artists are secured, we’ll raise funds via RWA sales. Holders invest using PVT tokens, share in concert profits, and receive perks like VIP fan meets and travel benefits. Starting in Southeast Asia, we’ll expand globally year by year—building both revenue and Punkvism’s brand reputation.

We heard you’re also working on a hospital RWA project?

Yes, we’re currently launching the Alya NFT RWA Project, which focuses on a PDT cancer hospital in Indonesia. Tokenizing real-world assets and turning them into functioning businesses is complex, but if we succeed, the market potential is massive. We’re working to tokenize assets like real estate, healthcare, and entertainment to provide new investment opportunities for our holders.

What’s the status of the RWA exchanges in Indonesia and Cambodia?

We’re developing RWA exchanges in both countries that will enable trading of real estate, live events, and artworks. The Cambodia exchange is in its final stage and can be completed with an additional $2 million in investment. Based on our own PUNK Chain, the PVT token will serve as the base currency, and we plan to introduce stablecoins in collaboration with domestic and international financial institutions. Our ambition is to become the next Bithumb or Upbit on a global scale.

What role does Punkvism play in the Web3.0 era?

Web 1.0 was the age of static websites using HTTP. Web 2.0 brought mobile and social media but also centralized data—leading to hacking and privacy issues. Web3.0 uses blockchain to bring decentralization and trust, offering tamper-proof data, cost savings, and smart contracts. Punkvism aims to be the leading Web3 platform, combining RWA, gaming, and content using our own PUNK Chain and PVT token. Just as Naver led Web 1.0 and Kakao led Web 2.0 in Korea, we aim to lead Web 3.0.

How do you ensure the long-term sustainability of the PVT token?

PVT offers various utilities: RWA investments, payments via PG partnerships, NFT level-ups, DAO voting, and game functions. Revenues from the Ronaldinho Show, K-POP concerts, PunkPay, Torri hatching, and Okula summons will feed into a burn mechanism, increasing token value. We also plan to enhance liquidity through new RWA experiments such as short-form dramas and e-commerce, and offer more utility for NFT holders.

Lastly, what would you like to say to Punkvism holders and readers?

Punkvism has come this far thanks to the passion of our holders. The Ronaldinho Show, K-POP concerts, hospital RWAs, and exchanges are the first steps into the Web3 future. Through annual global events, the Punkvism name will shine brighter, offering strong returns to investors and new utilities to NFT holders. With the PVT token, you can become a part of this innovation. Join us now and help shape the future—together!
