IoTeX Celebrates Winners of the First-Ever Crypto’s Got Talent Awards at EthCC

Web3 Startup Showcase Crypto’s Got Talent

5 Breakout Projects Take Home Honors from Over 1 Million+ Views in Web3’s Premier Builder Showcase

CANNES, FranceCrypto’s Got Talent (CGT), the inaugural global showcase spotlighting the next generation of Web3 infrastructure innovators, has officially announced its winners live from the EthCC Showcase in Cannes. Powered by IoTeX and supported by Polygon’s Community Grants Program, CGT Season 1 attracted over 1.1 million impressions and 150,000+ livestream viewers in its debut season — setting a new benchmark for grassroots builder discovery in crypto.

Out of hundreds of applicants, five standout projects emerged as CGT champions after a multi-stage, community-driven competition:

DeCharge – A decentralized EV charging network enabling anyone to host, access, and monetize charging infrastructure through open protocols.

Rovr – A high-precision, decentralized mapping platform for autonomous driving, robotics, and spatial AI using contributor-generated 3D environmental data.

GenPulse – A blockchain-integrated AI system for personalized scalp health that rewards users for contributing to decentralized science (DeSci).

Gargoyle Systems – A decentralized drone detection network designed to protect low-altitude airspace using scalable, real-time sensor infrastructure.

Axal – A protocol for verifiable autonomous agents, enabling users to coordinate on-chain AI agents across DeFi, commerce, and governance.

Nubila – An AI-Powered Weather Oracle Built on DePIN & Web3

Runner-ups included Flashback, Traxa DAO, Lilypad, AVO, and Datagram, each pushing the envelope in areas ranging from edge computing to decentralized data oracles.

Crypto’s Got Talent was born out of a simple belief: that the best ideas in Web3 often emerge from the ground up — not from VC boardrooms,” said Jing Sun, Co-Founder of IoTeX. “From decentralized drone security to tokenized scalp health, CGT Season 1 has shown that real-world innovation in crypto is alive and thriving. We’re proud to champion the next wave of builders creating tangible, verifiable impact.

The CGT competition unfolded over six weeks, combining public voting with expert panels across multiple online and in-person events, culminating at the EthCC Showcase by Akindo. The event was a celebration of underrepresented and early-stage talent shaping the future of decentralized infrastructure — with strong participation from DePIN, AI, and on-chain agent ecosystems.

CGT Season 1 was made possible through strategic collaboration with Polygon, whose grant support empowered participants to scale their visions. In Season 2, 0G Network will act as the lead sponsor, which will spotlight AI-driven and agent-powered applications through new prize tracks.

Season 2 of Crypto’s Got Talent will officially begin airing in September, with submissions opening in August 2025. The next season expands its focus to include AI-native applications, DePIN infrastructure, and agent economies, reflecting the accelerating convergence of physical and intelligent systems.

In parallel with the awards, IoTeX unveiled Chapter 3 of its open ecosystem roadmap, marking a new era for real-world AI, verifiable agents, and decentralized coordination. The announcement set the stage for deeper collaboration across chains and ecosystems — amplified by the involvement of partners like0G.
