Hadley Palmer is an American artist, educator, and philanthropist. Known for her successful career in the arts and real estate, she has also worked prominently in various philanthropic pursuits.
Bio
Palmer was born and raised in an average American family. She graduated from Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut in 1986. Her fascination with art history led her to the University of Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in History of Art in 1990. Her thesis studied Henri Matisse, the French artist acclaimed for his use of color, shapes, and draughtsmanship.

Hadley Palmer started her career in the art world with an internship at Sotheby’s International in Philadelphia from 1989 to 1990. This experience provided her with insights into the operations and aesthetics of the art world.
Palmer later moved to New York City to work in the Impressionism and Modern Department at Christie’s Auction House from 1990 to 1991.
In 1991, she joined the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in the Drawing Department as a secretary. Later, Palmer moved to the Department of Education, where she advanced to leadership positions. Palmer served as the Head of Public Programs and eventually the Assistant Director of the Department. Although she stepped down from active roles in May 1998 to focus on her family, she continued to serve on the Education Board for over 15 years.

In addition to her work in the art world, H Palmer was active in the real estate industry. Balancing her interest in the arts with being a real estate broker, she achieved significant success in both arenas.
Her life
Hadley Palmer is a mother of four children. After the birth of her first child in 1998, Palmer decided to focus on her family. Beyond her work in arts and real estate, she is known as an educational consultant and philanthropist. Palmer is also an avid supporter of American football and the New York Jets, and she is a former lacrosse player and a stalwart supporter of the University of Pennsylvania’s Women’s Lacrosse Team.

Palmer started volunteering for the global charity, Save the Children, in 1985. Over time, her dedicated work has improved the lives of many people around the world, impacting people in areas such as the Kenyan slums, the Syrian border, and Central America.
