Fans of fantasy and science fiction will have a chance to meet one of the best-selling authors in the genre, J. Edwards Holt, at the Wake Forest Comic-Con on Saturday, August 19. Holt, who is known for his Little Men, Big Treasures trilogy and his Barrenworld series, will be among the many vendors at the event, which will also feature comic books, graphic novels, figurines, artists, food, drinks, and a costume contest.

The costume contest will be held at 3 p.m., with registration from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Parking is available on site.
