7 things that make Exotic Tanzania rank high on your ‘must-visit’ list

In the year 1911, a German physician and archaeologist named Wilhelm Kattwinkle was travelling through Africa investigating the causes of sleeping sickness disease. When he was visiting the Olduvai Gorge, he came across many fossilised bones of some species. Curious about his discovery, he decided to explore further and unexpectedly unearthed the skull of our earliest known ancestors.

Later studies proved that these were indeed the remains of the earliest known humans who walked on this planet.

Today, Olduvai Gorge is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to this rare discovery and is considered by many as the ‘cradle of mankind’. This is just one of the many things you can see when you visit this enchanting country.
