3 Ways Technology Can Transform Your Health

One of the biggest challenges we face in modern life is how to stay healthy with all the temptations and the modern lifestyle we’re living. Thankfully as technology evolves, we find more and more ways that we can use it to our advantage to improve our health, to ensure we’re living as long as possible, and to be the best version of ourselves. If you’re interested in implementing technology into your health routine, keep reading to learn more.

High-Performance Gear

Due to improvements in things like 3-d printing and the production of equipment, you can buy a high-quality Tennis Racket for an unbelievable price. If you’re in the market for a new tennis racket, then you’re going to want to take a good look at how much it weighs and how that impacts your wrist movement and ability to use it. Because the production process is improving so much, you’ll notice that many tennis rackets on the market are a lot lighter than they used to be. No matter the industry you’re in, high-quality performance gear tends to become more accessible and more affordable due to how quickly technology is improving.

A Smart Watch

This is one of my favorite purchases as it allows me to be in better tune with my body and how certain changes impact things such as my sleep, weight, and energy levels. Of course one of the most popular smartwatches is the infamous iWatch, smaller brands also have their own versions. You can also buy one from a sports brand like FitBit or Garmin. There are so many new features that keep coming out which allow you to benefit in ways you might otherwise not have been able to imagine a decade ago. The iWatch can answer your calls, help you find your phone, have information about your apps on there, or detect critical health information like the number of steps taken, heart rate, or even resting basal body temperature. The best thing about a smartwatch is that they’re small, portable and they are always with you so it’s super mindless. When I was tracking my BBT for example, I found it hard to do so every day but the watch makes it really automatic.

Apps

There are apps for everything these days, from helping you connect with your partner right through to analyzing your health data. No matter what your health goals are, there’s probably an app that can help you achieve that. Whether you’re looking to implement an intermittent fasting routine or just want to keep better track of your diabetes, there’s an app for that. You can check out dofasting.com if you want to try a healthy and fast way to weight loss. You can also use apps to help you become more productive at work. My favorite type of app for increasing my focus at work is a Pomodoro-type app which encourages you to get into a deep focus zone with set break times.

Your health is your most important asset. Don’t be afraid to lean into the advancements technology has made in the past decades and be sure to enjoy the benefits that it has for you and your health. The more health you feel, the more productive you can be in your business and personal life.
