Terms and Conditions

By TechBullion·Published May 20, 2016·Updated November 1, 2026

These terms apply to everyone who visits or uses techbullion.com and TechBullion Tools. Please read them carefully. By using the website you agree to them, and by booking a paid service you accept them together with the terms shown at booking. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Using the website

You must be 18 or over to use TechBullion. Our paid services are offered to businesses and professionals only: by booking, you confirm you are acting for the purposes of your trade, business or profession.

You agree not to:

We may restrict or suspend access to the website, an account or a service if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

2. Our content and how you may use it

The website and its content, including text, images, design, logos and TechBullion Tools, are owned by or licensed to TechBullion and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. All rights are reserved, including the right to permit or refuse text and data mining.

You may read, print and share links to our pages for personal or internal business use. You are welcome to link to our articles, provided the link is fair and lawful and does not suggest any association with us that does not exist. You may not republish, sell or commercially exploit our content, or frame it within another website, without our written permission, except through the embed and share features we provide.

3. Editorial, contributed and paid content

TechBullion publishes news, analysis and interviews, together with content written by contributors, companies and their representatives. We decide what we publish and may edit, decline, correct or remove any content at our discretion.

Paid content is identified as such, for example with a “Partner Content”, “Press Release” or “Sponsored” label or a disclosure notice. Contributed and paid content reflects the views of its authors, who are responsible for its accuracy. Publication on TechBullion is not an endorsement by us of any company, product, service or investment.

If you submit content, you confirm that you own it or have permission to publish it (including every image), that it is accurate, lawful and not misleading, does not infringe anyone’s rights or defame anyone, is not a financial promotion that UK law requires to be approved, and meets our content guidelines. You grant TechBullion a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence, which we may sublicense to our service providers, to publish, edit for length, style and legal reasons, format, promote and archive it. You remain responsible for your content.

4. Not financial advice

Everything on TechBullion, including articles, interviews, data and results from TechBullion Tools, is for general information only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, and it is not an offer, invitation or recommendation to buy or sell any product, security or crypto asset. TechBullion is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to give financial advice.

Investing involves risk. Crypto assets in particular are high risk: their value can fall as well as rise, you could lose all the money you invest, and most crypto assets are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or the Financial Ombudsman Service. Always do your own research and take independent professional advice before making a financial decision.

5. TechBullion Tools

TechBullion Tools are free calculators, a currency converter and website and search checkers. Your use of them is also subject to these conditions:

6. Corrections, complaints and removal requests

We aim to be accurate and fair. If you believe something we have published is inaccurate, infringes your rights or is unlawful, please use the “Request a correction” link on the article, or email [email protected] with the page address, what is wrong and why, and your contact details. We review every complete request and act promptly where action is needed, which may include correcting, updating or removing content.

Copyright owners who believe their work has been used without permission should include details of the work and of their ownership. Requests that are incomplete, abusive or made in bad faith may not receive a response.

7. Paid services

Prices are shown when you book and are payable in advance through our website, a secure payment link or an invoice we send. If anyone asks you to pay TechBullion by any other means, please check with us at [email protected] before paying.

Publication is subject to our content guidelines. If submitted content cannot be published within our guidelines and has not been published, we will refund that item. Once content is published, the service has been delivered and is not refundable, except where the law requires. Credits in packs and plans can be used only within the validity period stated at purchase (12 months unless stated otherwise) and are not transferable; unused credits then expire.

If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend your services and remove content that has not been paid for. We do not guarantee any particular level of traffic, clicks, search ranking, indexing or other result from any service.

As our paid services are for businesses only, you agree that regulations 9(1), 9(2) and 11(1) of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 do not apply.

8. Links and advertising

The website contains links to other websites and advertising from third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, products, services or advertisements, and a link or advertisement is not an endorsement.

9. Our responsibility to you

We provide the website, its content and TechBullion Tools “as is” and “as available”. While we take reasonable care, we do not promise that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful code, or that any content or result is accurate, complete or up to date.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Subject to that:

If you submit content or buy a paid service, you will compensate TechBullion for any claims, losses and reasonable costs caused by your content or by your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in our services. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes do not affect services you have already paid for.

11. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms do not give rights to anyone else. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation that takes over our business.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the website. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
