Solana Price News: SOL Gains 1% as Hacker Converts $96M in Stolen SOL and Buyers Eye Pepeto

By Dani Bonocci·Published November 5, 2026·Cryptocurrency

SOL OCT (38)

SOL holders spent the week watching a hacker sell coins into the market. The Binance attacker keeps turning about 970,522 stolen SOL, worth about $96 million, into bitcoin. On November 4 those swaps moved to THORChain.

Yet SOL rose 1.2% that day, as futures open interest fell from $6.5 billion to $5.7 billion since October 29. That left fewer borrowed bets to be forced out. Therefore, that leaves one test for the Solana (SOL) price news: can buyers lift SOL to $100 while stolen coins keep coming?

Below those headlines, buyers chasing coins with real use have funded Pepeto. Its meme token comes with a $0 bridge made for Solana holders.

Solana (SOL) Price News: SOL Rises 1% Despite Hacker Sales

On November 4, SOL trades at $96.96 on CoinMarketCap. Support sits at $89.27, about 4% below, then $87.21, about 7% below, according to AMBCrypto. After four days under $100, outlets place its 200 day average between $98 and $100. That is about 6% to 7% higher. This is the zone that decides whether this bounce becomes a trend.

Still, wallets holding stablecoins on Solana grew from under 4 million in October 2024 to 14 million by October 2026. Therefore, more people now keep dollars on the chain, ready to buy SOL in seconds.

However, SOL is worth $55.1 billion, so reaching $100 needs about $3.9 billion of new buying for a gain near 7%. Importantly, that 7% is the same for a $1,000 buyer and a $1 million buyer.

What this means is that the Solana (SOL) price news pays holders a few percent at a time. This happens because SOL’s largest gains went to buyers who owned it before the network grew. Pepeto is at the stage those buyers entered SOL. In addition, it is building a $0 bridge from Solana to four other chains.

Pepeto Buyers Are Funding a $0 Bridge for Solana Holders

Every SOL holder who moves coins to another chain pays $15 to $50 a transfer on most bridges. They then wait while the price moves. Pepeto, a meme coin whose cofounder also created Pepe, is building a bridge that cuts that cost to $0. This bridge finishes in under 60 seconds.

The bridge locks tokens in an audited contract on one chain and mints them on the other once the lock is proven on chain. Supply stays the same everywhere. Additionally, a failed transfer reverts on its own, so funds are never stuck. Nine transfers a month keep $1,620 to $5,400 a year in the holder’s wallet.

The token will also run a zero fee exchange and an AI risk scorer, and all three tools are being tested privately by community members and big investors.

The presale has taken in more than $11.2 million, with each token priced at $0.0000001905 in the current stage. That price rises with each stage, and a stage ends when its timer runs out or its target fills.

Each trader who keeps his fee has a reason to return, and every return runs through the Pepeto token. Its supply is fixed at 420 trillion across all chains, so more use pushes up the value of each token.

Conclusion

When FTX collapsed in November 2022, SOL fell to $12.37 on November 9. Few people believed the network would survive. The buyers who stepped in that week held it to $294.33 in January 2025. The market paid them the most, turning $1,000 into about $23,800.

This week’s Solana (SOL) price news is slower, with a $55 billion coin needing billions for each step. Meanwhile, Pepeto offers a similar entry today. It is a token with a $0 bridge in private testing and millions of dollars arriving during the drop.

The wallets buying now expect what SOL’s 2022 buyers got. Their entry price holds only until Pepeto lists on Binance, an event now approaching, after which the open market sets the price.
