Polkadot Price Prediction: Can DOT Retake $1.01 After 99.9% Vote as Buyers Stake Pepeto?

DOT OCT (8)

DOT holders are watching a vote this week more closely than a chart. By November 7, about 48 million DOT had voted yes on Referendum 1966, which cuts Polkadot’s active validators from 600 to 500 as a first step. Yet DOT still trades near $0.90, about 19% below a month ago. So the polkadot price prediction now turns on whether a leaner network brings buyers back.

With prices low across the market, a buyer can also look one step earlier, at Pepeto, a meme coin presale that pays staking rewards before its token trades on any exchange.

Polkadot Price Prediction: DOT Needs 12% to Retake $1.01

DOT trades near $0.905 on November 7, down about 3% in a day. Support at $0.89 to $0.92 held twice this week and sits about 1% below. The first resistance is $0.96, about 6% above, and a daily close over $1.01, about 12% above, would signal a turn.

Behind that price, 99.9% of votes cast back a plan to cut the network’s costs. After the first step, the set shrinks to 400 and then 320 by the end of November, and the saved budget pays the remaining operators for stronger machines.

However, the cut leaves the number of DOT unchanged, so it adds no demand by itself. At about $1.55 billion, DOT needs roughly $190 million of new buying to climb 12% to $1.01, and a $300 stake gains the same 12% as a $3 million one.

What this means is that the polkadot price prediction rests on a staking change while the price waits for buyers. DOT’s largest gains went to holders who bought before its 2021 climb, and Pepeto is at that point now, paying stakers before its token trades.

Pepeto Pays Stakers Before Trading Starts, So What Do Investors Get?

Investors in Pepeto, a meme coin in presale that builds its own swap platform, a five chain bridge and a token scanner, earn staking rewards before the token trades anywhere. The presale is paying to build all three, and each one is in development now.

More than $11.1 million has gone into the presale so far, and the project’s big investors, the buyers who usually spot a launch before the crowd, already hold private testing access alongside community members. Every tool runs on the token, and the supply that demand meets stays fixed at 420 trillion across all chains. Each trader who swaps, bridges or scans on Pepeto’s platform adds demand for that fixed supply.

Pepeto’s stakers earn 160% APY today, a rate set daily from the reward allocation and the amount staked, and locked plans keep the rate shown at signup for the full term.

A buyer who puts in $3,350 at the current stage price of $0.0000001906 holds about 17.6 billion tokens, which at today’s rate would earn about 28.4 billion more in a year, claimable at listing. That stage sells until its timer runs out or its target is hit, whichever comes first, and the next one opens at a higher price.

Conclusion

DOT remains a network its holders still agree on, and the vote shows it. Between December 23, 2020 and January 3, 2021, DOT rose about 80%, so a buyer who waited those eleven days paid 80% more for the same coin.

The polkadot price prediction gives existing holders about 12% to $1.01 if the vote brings buyers back. Pepeto gives a new buyer today’s stage price and a staking rate that pays from the first day, on a token its tools run on.

For a staker, waiting one more day costs a day of rewards, and a stage that closes does not reopen. Pepeto’s stage prices work that way until the expected Binance listing ends them.
