Please tell us your name and about yourself.

My name is Pierre Pradier, I am the co-founder of New Horizons Global Partners and head of Corporate Strategy. I am French and have been living in China since 2005. I speak Chinese, French, and English. Since coming to China, I have been involved with Business Expansion Consulting, helping companies to set up their operations in China and other Asian countries.

What is New Horizons Global Partners?

New Horizons Global Partners is the leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO) with a primary focus on Asia. We help foreign companies gain access to China and other major markets such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea.

We are a PEO (Professional Employer Organization). We assist businesses in recruiting and hiring talents in Asia and China. Our service allows enterprises to emerge into new markets in some days without the need to create a legal entity. New Horizons will handle all the administrative employment processes on behalf of the company.

Besides, we handle company incorporation processes to facilitate an independent subsidiary and take care of all administrative tasks on behalf of our clients abroad.

What solutions are you bringing to the corporate services and HR markets and what is your area of expertise?

New Horizons Global Partners provides market-leading expertise to foreign companies wanting to enter or expand across markets in Asia. Our services begin with identifying and recruiting key talent. As an Employer of Record, our workforce and collective experience enable these businesses to identify and recruit the right talent in any country. We also provide market research so that companies can learn how the local market responds to their product or service before fully launching in the new country. Furthermore, we deploy local market experts for every customer to ensure a smooth incorporation process and facilitate various administrative tasks to get the business set up and ready for Asian markets. We focus on helping startups, entrepreneurs, small, and mid-sized companies expand to Asia.

Who are your services for and what are your success stories so far?

Our services are for any business that wants to emerge into Asian markets. I believe every project is challenging and there is always a certain complexity when the needs of every business model are so unique. At the same time, the uncertainty of business means that some projects encounter more obstacles than others.

In such instances, our dedicated account managers will use their experience to ensure a smooth and timely process in spite of whatever issues may arise. We relish the challenge of every project at NH Global and take immense pride in the success rate and reliability of our services.

One success story involved an American-based consumer electronics manufacturer that needed to establish a research and development team in China as quickly as possible. We quickly assembled a team and provided the company recruiting, HR, and accounting services. We gave the business office space and technology to support a team of 40 engineers in a few weeks. This quick response gave our client an instant presence in Shenzhen while working to establish permanent PRC company status. With our help, the company was able to build a high-tech team of over 200 members within two years.

In another situation, a real estate development firm wanted to outsource its administrative compliance activities in China fully. We took over the corporate accounting and bookkeeping, hiring/terminating, administrative onboarding, payroll and tax compliance services, and expenses declaration. Our extensive knowledge of HR processes and local government requirements positioned us to integrate our services seamlessly.

We also helped a European winery establish a sales and marketing team to develop the company’s brand in China. Because of our understanding of complexities that are often associated with the facilitation of expansion projects and employment in China, we were able to provide a one-stop solution to onboard local and foreign nationals by using our Employer of Record services. We arranged the labor contracts, visas, and payroll and tax registration in compliance with local labor laws.

While we have assisted countless startups to take their first steps into Asian markets, we have also helped just as many small and medium-sized enterprises on their path to becoming large corporations in China, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan.
